Truck stutters when I hit a hard bump.

I have a 2002 f250 230,000 miles on it. I just replaced the icp sensor twice( first one was bad from the get go) and the pig tail. When I'm driving down the high way and I hit a big bump at like a bridge the truck will stutter and lose power. Also if I exit the highway and come to a stop light shortly after the bump it will have a rough idle and then go away. It was doing this before I replaced the icp and pig tail. I figured they were related, guess not. Please help

Mine would studder at high speeds on a rough road and also durning any bump on a left turn. I found the main connection under the valve cover and the #8 cyclinder connection under the valve cover loose. Pushed them in tight and haven't had that problem since.

How your oil level ? You might want to have your fuel pressure checked. You can also checked the engine harnesses for rubbing/bare wires near the valve covers. Are you getting a service engine light or anything like that etc..

No lights come on not even a flicker I'm going to look some more in the morning. I'm gonna take a rubber hammer and tap around while its running.

I would double check all electrical connections. Also, make sure the tin nut on the solenoid side of your IPR is tight.

-update- here's what I found so far, the fuel heater plug was not clipped in so after some work got it to clip. Now I have not test drove over the bumps that are causing the problem. Would the fuel heater cause this?

I wouldn't think so. Some just unplug them when the heating element inside the fuel bowl shorts to ground and blow a fuse.

Have you checked the IPR to make sure the tin nut is still tight?
