Turbo noise/power questions

I was moving this weekend and was towing a 12' box utility trailer, 2k lbs maybe, and when towing it empty it seemed like power was down. I haven't towed for awhile so maybe its just me. Thought i'd get some opinions. Under accelaration on the highway from a stop to 60mph it seemed like i really had to get on the go pedal to get it up to 60mph, over 3k rpms. Felt like it was alot heavier. The boost gauge was showing around 10-15 lbs boost if i recall. I hear a lot of air rushing noise under the hood under accel, i do have a 6637 as well. EGT were around 9-10 i think. Also have a 1705 Superchips on the TowSafe setting.

Does all this sound about normal? Just seemed a little sluggish to me.

I had similar issue a while back. Check all your intercooler boots. I would only get 12lbs boost and couldn't hill climb with my toyhauler over 45mph. Ended up being one of my boots from the intake spider to the plenum on the head. The boot deformed and slipped out of the clamp
