Turbo question

Was driving down the highway, and just started pooring out white smoke. had the 350 towed home...took the turbo out to find the shaft broken in half. and everything all chewed up. any idea where i can get a new one? or even throw a bunch of misc pieces together. looks like im going to need everything. whats the cheapest way to go? help would be appreciated.

Try Rons turbo service he always has turbos and parts on ebay. Seems to have good feedback and fair prices. Search for LATE 99/03 FORD 7.3 TURBO POWERSTROKE TURBOCHARGER 99 00 01 02 03 with BANKS wheel rebuilt with warranty

thanks.. but is it possible that mine is not rebuildable? me shaft broke and the exhaust wheel spun around and chewed everything up.. does this matter?

It may not be rebuildable, but if it only tore up the exhaust side or intake side the other half may be ok.

I have an extra turbo complete that came with the exhaust brake I bought. Let me know what you find out with the rebuilder. Mine is an 01.
