Turn Signal Relay Buzz

I've got a 2002 F-250 CC 7.3 Turbo and noticed a buzzing sound coming from under the dash. It quit if I hit the brake or turned on a turn signal. I found that it was the turn signal relay. Bought a new one and replaced it and about an hour of driving later the new relay started buzzing. Also, after this started, after sitting overnight my truck wouldn't start due to dead batteries. Truck started immediately once jumped. Unplugged the relay and the batteries are staying charged now but don't have turn signals. I've found a couple of postings with similar problems but noone seemed to have an answer. Hope someone may have found the answer and can share with me!!!

Re: Turn Signal Relay Buzz

I have the same problem - no solution yet. One of the local dealers said that it might be the multifunction switch on the column.

Re: Turn Signal Relay Buzz

Its the turn signal switch on the column. You need a new one.

Take care,

Dave

Re: Turn Signal Relay Buzz

Mine does it too. Can you explain why the turn signal switch can cause this as all of the functions work fine?
