VC-9 vs. Fleetguard Restore Coolant Cleaner CC 2601

I am about to flush my system and go with the Cat ELC
Strawberry Red Coolant.

1. Is the forced hose tap water flush using the Prestone "T"
important, or is using distilled water w/large funnel in the "T"
a better way to go for the back-flush?

2. I plan on removing the Stat to do the flush, I have read the restore
is more forgiving on the system vs. the VC-9, any thoughts?

3. Where do you do visual inspection checks to see scale etc?

4. On the 7.3L where is the best place to install a water temp
Autometer sending unit/gauge? I noticed the stock dash-light
water temp sending unit is on the top of the water heater, if I
install a brass "T" there do you think this is a good place to install
the Aotometer Water temp Sending unit? This way they would both
he hooked up and this must be the best location since the stock unit is there.

5. I am going to install a new Bosch Water Pump after the flush is
complete, and new hoses, serp belt. What brand of hoses
seem to be the best available? I have the new Gatorback
Goodyear Serp belt.

Any help would be kind.
