7.3L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 1999-Up Super Duty trucks and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 7.3L Power Stroke engine.

2000 F 250 original owner purchased 12/99
currently has 92,000 miles


under factory warranty

turbo, bolts fell out the put on a new(rebuilt?) turbo

CPS

front rotors / calipers and pads several times do to warped rotors

on my dime
30 oil & filter changes/ lube steering linkage
10 fuel & air filter filter changes
4 Transmission & Xfer case fluid changes
1 F&R diff fluid change
lube spindle bearings
3 coolant flush & replace
shocks @ 18,000 mile
tires @ 43,000 miles
brakes all 4 corners@ 78,000 miles 4 rotors/ rebuilt calipers(myself) / new pads
water pump / serpentine belt/ up low radiator hose @ 90,000 miles

Update: 722,335 miles, and still "BTS mobilin".

I've got a 1999 E450 w/ 7.3 and showing 998k. It is a retired shuttle bus, and still runs strong. Needs to warm before power comes on strong, but hauls the family just fine.
