374,545:

Both front caliper kits from napa: pre-assembled with mounting bracket and pre-lubed slide pins. Only 70 bucks each side.

And discs and pads.

Just the occasional u-joint and brake pad mainly. You can see the mods to each one of my trucks in my sig. 04 6.0 had a bad coast clutch solenoid at 145k in the tranny when I got it. Nothing major now. My 06 went in for an ebp sensor at 99k when I first got it. The mechanic left a nut sitting in the intake tube to the turbo. When he started it...well you know what happened....so new turbo under mechanics mistake....otherwise my 06 has been my best truck. My 08 is almost at 100k...the DPF took a dump at 70k, fixed that with a dpf delete.... She starts, runs, get's me there, and gets me back every day. My 99 7.3 I sold with 400k was my first truck I ever had. bought her with 200k, sold her with 400k. The only thing I did on it was glow plugs at 250k, and a water pump at 325k. There's my input. My Dodge I replaced with my 08 went through two motors at under 90k.

I wonder if a 6, 6.4, or a 6.7 has even gotten close to that? If one did, it probably had way more problems
Than a 7.3 with similar mileage! I know, the 6.7 is alittle new to have that kind of mileage....

I believe the 7.3 to be the pinnacle of both old and new school technology. The 7.3 is fully capable due to it's simplistic industrial design and relatively low cost of operation. I do not believe any of the other ford diesels are capable, at least without high cost.

Add a new Coolant cap from the dealership, and an oil dipstick flange o-ring...

It suddenly developed an oil leak about 50miles after I changed all that stuff. I am worried about the possibility of dropping the flange in the pan, so I watched a few videos on youtube.... This seems to be the easiest way.

2001 7.3 6spd, basically stock except for AIS/tune/Exhaust. Born on April 2001.
63,850 to date. Still on the stock Firestones.

-Master/Slave assy for clutch (the trip home from the landfill was quite interesting)
-Water Pump/Radiator/hoses/Tstat
-Batteries (lasted 10 years)
-2 tag lights
-Shocks
-Front sway bar end links and sway bar bushings.
-CPS recall/Cruise Control Recall/seat belt recall
-Recharged the A/C at ~58,000

Love this truck! Now that it's 12 years old and still looks new, it gets a lot of comments.
