my truck started idleing rough when i first start it and seems to have a huge loss of power and its white smokeing really bad any ideas? read it could be injectors but what else? thanks
Bluish white smoke or White Steam. The first is the burning of OIL and the latter is coolant. Smoke will linger and Steam will disapate pretty fast, Unless its cold outside then steam sticks around a little. Is degas bottle empty ?

looks completly white... whats "degas bottle" would that cause my truck to lose power?
How long does the white smoke linger? Is it a puff or continous stream? Is it cold out?

whats your motor running at temp wise is it over heating spiking the coolent gauge? is the smoke steady or does it seem to clear out? does the power loss get worse as the motor runs or is it pretty constant?

9999, does the white smoke clear up when the engine warms up? White smoke on starting a cold engine usually relates to a glow plug problem. Is it hard to start?

hope its not a head gasket check your coolent level in the tank make sure its not burning it.

I would check you GPR to see if it is working correctly. Then check your GP, ohm them out...should see .6 ohms if they are good. When the truck is fully warm does the smoke go away?

what are you running for boost numbers are they the same they always been? with your setup you should be upwards around 30 psi if your having a gasket issue you wouldent be boosting. itd be nice to rule that one out but if you had a gasket issue the motor would be overheating as well. check your oil make sure theres nuthing that shouldent be in there as far as fuel or coolent.

my boost when on it 26psi from 0mph but from like 75mph punch its only 24psi no over heating... is there something i can look at to make sure no leaking somewhere???
Check your fuel pressure. My guess is that your fuel pump has given up. As long as the fuel system is tight, the injectors act as little tiny pumps and will draw fuel from the tank. But you won't have any power at all, as the injectors won't completely fill with fuel before asked to deliver it to the cylinders.
k well if your hitting those numbers not loosing coolent or over heating rule out the gasket issue. Hansens right up there saying white smoke means the motors starving for fuel (fuel issue) head gaskets not wrong ither but now youv ruled that one out. maby hansen could also shed some light on a simple way of checking to see if your injectors are firing correctly in the first place. like he said the pump could be going but with that check the little things to check the fuel bowl filter maby thats cloggin up or if its even filling with fuel,could be the screen in the tank clogging up cutting fuel delivery altho i didnt think those would cause the smoke just rough running. over my head i guess bring in the vets!!
