2.5" leveling kit and tire size

I'm getting ready to put my 2.5" leveling kit on the front and a 2" add a leaf in the back... i was wondering what size tires i would be able to fit on there after this.

I have 285/75/16 on there now and i would like to go with as big as i could... like a 35 or maybe a 37 12.50.

Thanks

For 35" I'd go with a 4.5 hanger lift 37" better go 6-8". A add a leaf is gona make it ride like crap..

I have to say, listen to caryt. He helped me out when I was ready to level out and I'm really pleased with my outcome. I replaced the front springs with X-Code springs, put on a 2 1/2" mini spring pack, and 2" blocks in the back to keep it level and of course, new Bilstein Shocks. The ride is great, a little rough on really bad roads, but better than stock overall. I fit 315/75 R16's on with only very minor rubbing on the inside of the fender well with wheels at full lock and hitting big bumps.

Thanks, I dont care about the ride as much as i want the bigger tires without having to put $900 for a lift. i got all the stuff for the 2.5" for $300 and i want the springs because i pull a lot of big tailors and also a plow in the winter. I just wanted to make sure i can fit 315/75/16 witch is a 35 on there with no problems.

I'm running 295 / 70-17's and thay only rub on my mud flaps. a lot depends on your wheel spaceing and how your going to use your truck. If it's an everyday driver only lift it as much as you have to. If it's your toy lift high and play on.

i have a leveling kit on my truck with 35s and have no problems but depending on how heavy your plow is you might have a problem with that hanging on the front.

I also plow with my truck, but probably don't tow as much heavy stuff. I never had a problem with the plow before, it was just low to the ground. Now it sits nice and high if I want, and don't have any problems at all with the new tires and lift.

If you look at my pics, before and after, you'll see a big difference after the X-code springs and the levelling kit were added, along with the tires. Total lift above stock at the front was just above 6" including the tires.

Just installed

Just installed the Summit Racing 2.5" kit and 315-75-16's and worked great. I did have to space the front bumper out aby 1.5", but if you cut the lower valence you could avoid that. I just didnt want to have a hacked up look. Rides better than stock. I have a 2002 F350 Crew Cab long bed.
