I have drilled many TC's but the were all non-locking, so I was afraid to try. When I ordered my precision converter I asked for it to be drilled and they would not ( said the hole could compromise the strength). Just use the tranny flush method found in FAQ, it works fine.
2003 F250CC shorty Lariat 7.3 PSD, Jody Tipton Flash, Autometer boost and EGT gauges, Nordskog trans temp, fuel press, voltmeter. Banks exhaust, Hughes TC (replaced dead PI failed converter don't wast your money on the purple converter), Transgo tugger kit, Hyd oil filter on trans return line, custom HD y-pipe boot clamps, BW Patriot hitch, PML pans, Manual TC lock and indicator EBV delete the right way, bellowed Up-pipes. and too much others stuff -- 89 F250 7.3 IDI 4X4 tuff truck--Some KTM dirtbikes, 2001 Jetta TDI with 424,000 miles still running strong (hope this Ford lasts that long, 135,000 now).
