5r110 transmission

I have a 2000 f250 with a 4r100. the trans is slowly going out and getting worse every day. is it possible to to bolt up a 5r110 and gain the extra gear? i'm sure i would have to put in the controller and stuff but is it even possible?

destroked has a PSC transmission controller for the 5r110 and there one off trans adapter The adapter would probably be the same as the rest. A 1 off flexplate would probably be 900.
