Banks transcommand or valvebody

I have a transcommand in now but I'm wanting more. The tranny shop told me to keep the transcommand and put in the sonnax line pressure modulator (size.427) rather then the .500 just to be safe, Or should I sell the transcommand and get a valvebody and the sonnax kit? The shop was only selling me the line pressure modulator and I see Black clould Diesel is selling it with a set of springs. What should I do?

Re: Banks transcommand or valvebody

Lots of guys running nothing more than the Sonnax Tricumulator stuff and are really happy with them.

I put a factory tech valve body in mine.

Re: Banks transcommand or valvebody

Who's the guy that does the factory techs? How do I get ahold of him?

Re: Banks transcommand or valvebody

The FTVB is available here . The transcommand, as well as some chips, raises your line pressure electonically. Most trans builders do not like that, so I think that valve body mods are better for your transmission. The FTVB is built by Greg Evans, he is a member here and posts under the handle gbevans.
