Re: BEST EXAUST for 7.3

The MBRP and Magnaflow exhaust systems have been the most popular systems nowadays.

I'd reccomend getting a turbo-back system for the most EGT drop.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Re: BEST EXAUST for 7.3

I put the the stainless dual magnaflow system on and man you cannot go wrong. Here is what I found when I put it on my egt dropped 70 degrees and this is the pyro before the turbo. That was my regular cruising speed at 65 which is what I do all the time. This system is real quiet going down the road. I can guarantee that you wont be dissapointed. I will be towing a 13k fifth wheel trailer in march. I will let you know how hot or cool this thing runs.

Re: BEST EXAUST for 7.3

The MBRP system is going to be a little louder. It will give you that deep tone you are looking for without being too loud.

Re: BEST EXAUST for 7.3

Banks Monster exhaust for a SS system or a Diamond Eye if you want aluminized steel. Either system will work well and you can also cut in an Aeroturbine as well to further lower EGTs.

Re: BEST EXAUST for 7.3

I have researched several. I am thinking I like the Banks Monster Exhaust. It has a welded bung on the turbo down pipe for a threaded thermocoupler for EGT's. The muffler is suppose to give a deep sound but not too harsh of a drone. Does anyone have the Banks Monster System and are you pleased with it???

Re: BEST EXAUST for 7.3

I really like my Bank's Monster Exhaust. I can't tell you if it's any better than the other brands out there.

I can tell you it's not too loud, it lowered my EGT's when towing my 5th wheel, and it fit perfectly right out of the box.

Re: BEST EXAUST for 7.3

These are just a few places that I could think of right now. They are certified MBRP suppliers. My favorite.
