i did this mod about 5 months ago, just ran the 3/4 tube striaght out by the rear bumper. the question i have is can i put a bong into my exhaust and have it run straight so it will be sucked out by the exhaust or will that hurt anything

yes many have done just that;
welded a bung in the exhaust near the rear and let er blow!

I would just let it be. Or possibly adding a canister if the smell bothers you.
With the exhaust bung you run the risk of increasing the backpressure on your CCV system and turning your engine into a gusher. I've never understood why people feel the need to run it into the exhaust. You basically end up with a risky and unnecessary set up.
If the bung is welded in at an angle, the exhaust actually pulls the vapors out, not pressurizes the ccv. It works great, I have had mine like that for a couple years now. I didn't like the smell and smoke at drive thru windows.

I think that on another forum a guy call Eugene hooked up a bunch of gauges and found that somehow there was more pressure in the system with the exhaust hookup.
