Chip Mod

I have a old style superchip with no hand held programmer, was wondering what most you guys recommend. I will be towing alot with this truck, but it does'nt seem to downshift when i give it alot of pedal, don't know if the programmer fixes that. thanks for any replies..

Re: Chip Mod

You can use it and should should work for you just fine. Make sure you monitor your EGT's. As for the tranny I'd add the Sonnax/Tricumulator kit to help with the shifts.
