Hello to all
New to this site. Just wanting to know if anybody heard of true flow foam air filters?
I have been looking at the tymar and the true flow. I like the fact of the true flow because it stays in closed but not that you have to reoil it. The tymar is an open paper filter that can get dirty much faster and you lose one of the two sensors in the factory housing. Can I get some help from other people in this?
Thanks
Bill

well thier coffee can filter always looked neat in mags.

all my sensors are still on mine, but I imagine the one on the box , doesn't doo much ,
since I took the lid off. If it goes off and says my filter is dirty I have bigger troubles then that.

I have my filter on order and picked up a piece of 4" pipe.
How is everyone modifying their lower factory air box to get the 6637 filter to fit?

Thanks,

Fin

well Firts I used a cordless jig saw ...cause i wanted to get home.
that resulted in a crappy cut cause I had an agressive wood blade in it,
(maybe a fine tooth blade would have worked )

then i actually used a grinder with a thin concrete or metal wheel , kinda sawed/burned my way around.. nice smooth cut.

BUT be very carfull there are a few things around there like a powersteering line , that doesn't like any kind of nick, poke etc...

infact i should have taken mine off but i was careful , brave , or stupid ...take your pick.
