No I am not rich, was just born this way LOL , poor and an overspender still.
The turbo master actuator has no canister, kind of like having the line disconnected BUT it will open a certain point, of course now I don't have that yet installed, in the box waiting for his cousin ATS ported housing......I see a lot of dirty grease around the stock boots, what exactly is that stuff, seems to me that every 7.3 looks that way at some point...
Also, I am running Street mode on my SCT and most likely getting an extra 90 hp only, the psi does go to 20 but believe me I almost never go around that territory, so for now is disconnected but not for long, I should be geeting the housing around the 20th or so.....

The oil is engine blow-by that gets recirculated in just before the turbo. Pull your air filter hose off the filter and look inside so you can see the turbo blades. The inlet is in that black flex hose.
This oil goes into the intercooler and breaks down the silicone hoses. They turn to swiss cheese and seep out oil everywhere. Eventually you could lose 1-5psi or more from leaks through the boots. At some point they blow out especially when you push the psi limits of the turbo. The dieselsite boots are a different material not affected by oil. Also a lot thicker and stronger. Good past 60psi or something.
Sounds like time for new boots, but I am in the process of buying a new IC so I will do those together.
Sounds lie the IC must be all cloged up w/ that sludge looking oil blow-by, what about just plugging the boot and using one of those small K&N filters?
