Doing zoo-dad mod

Getting ready to go to the shop and do the zoo-dad mod on my '02. Seems like a pretty simple mod. Any tips or special things I need to know?

Re: Doing zoo-dad mod

If the trucks sits outside all the time you'll want to keep an eye on the airbox for bird nests. It'll also suck a lot more bugs in so you'll want to keep a closer eye on your filter.

Do you have the stock filter? If so, I would suggest a lifetime filter from Amsoil (or any other reuseable filter) that you can clean and reuse. I also see that Amsoil has come out with a new Powercore filter design, a whole new housing and everything that is supposed to flow more air.

I did the Zoo-dad and have noticed the above concerns. Maybe a fine screen would help?
