Just wondering what some guys egts at idle were. I just installed set of glowshift gauges (price was right free) just want to come pair temps. It runs 250 when engine is at operatin temp.

My thermocouple is in the up pipe (pre-turbo). My TTM is set for 300°, so the engine dies at 300°. That usually takes about 60 seconds when unloaded or two to three minutes when towing at highway speeds (74 MPH unloaded or 62 MPH towing). If I don't turn off the key, mine will very slowly cool off to around 280°. If I crank it cold and immediately let it idle, it begins at about 275° but slowly warms up to about 280°.
