Just wondering what some guys egts at idle were. I just installed set of glowshift gauges (price was right free) just want to come pair temps. It runs 250 when engine is at operatin temp.

'99 F250 CC-SB 4x4, AFE Stage 2 intake with Pro-Guard 7, Dieselsite coolant filter, DiPricol Full gauges, AIC, On board air + Buell emergency series air horns, Striker turbo timer, Striker I module, Cyclops anti-theft module, TC lockup and 6.0 trans cooler.
My thermocouple is in the up pipe (pre-turbo). My TTM is set for 300°, so the engine dies at 300°. That usually takes about 60 seconds when unloaded or two to three minutes when towing at highway speeds (74 MPH unloaded or 62 MPH towing). If I don't turn off the key, mine will very slowly cool off to around 280°. If I crank it cold and immediately let it idle, it begins at about 275° but slowly warms up to about 280°.
