Evo upgrade

My evolution tuner has a manufacture date of 6/21/04...I've seen some things about sending the tuner back to Edge so they can upgrade it but what exactly does the upgrade do for the tuner. Thanks
Grant

Re: Evo upgrade

Couple of things. First, you may end up getting a newer version of programming. Secondly, the latest version has several "nice to have" features, such as telling you transmission temps, oil pressure, and a host of other things. If you pay Edge Products 15 dollars, they'll update your programmer for you. The only reason I haven't updated mine, is I like the program I have now so much, I'm afraid to try anything else!
