I have Bank's exhaust, I'm trying to move the tip out a little, but I cant get it to budge. I've tried having someone pull on the end of it while I hit the lip with a chisel and hammer but it wont move. Yes, I loosend the clamp. And I'm positive its not welded or even tacked.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to move this thing?
Sometimes if the clamps are pulled very tight the two overlapping pipes dent inward under the force of the clamp and more or less become one. Its VERY hard to slide them apart at all if any......and the end result usually comes by way of torch or recip-saw. I had to cut mine apart to marry my Banks pipe to my Flowmaster pipe. Now I am using thos flat clamps from a truck-stop...no more dented pipe seems.
