Did the foil delete, noticed only a small difference in sound (inside the cap), it sure looks better that that crappy foil looked.

I think its sounds way better removed, I also installed a wicked wheel on both my trucks and it really whistles under load. Plus it makes no sense to keep your air-to-air pipes insulated (ford only did it too lower engine noise in the cab), it totally defeats the purpose to cool the intake air charge, unless of course you don't want to hear turbo whistle, but then maybe you should drive a gasser...
