Just to clarify CSIPSD, you were saying that part number was not a BB turbo, when at least according to the Manufactur it is.. I guess you know better than they would..

You can post that on every forum you want but that deal never existed for the BB unit... The price they list is for the bushing TN turbo. </div></div>

I called them too and they say that part number is for a BALL BEARING turbo.. I also called turbonetics directly and asked them about that part number and TN even says that part number is for a BALL BEARING turbo.. So unless JEGS posted the wrong part number, that one IS for a BB unit just FYI.. </div></div>

You will be dissapointed if you order that turbo and when it shows up you have the bushing model... </div></div>

Brian @ BWD ordered 2 from Jegs.

Remember Ironhide, CSI is the TN Turbo guru around here, he knows everything ther eis to know about them. So it must be bogus and TN is telling a lie.

Re: garret bb or turbonetics??

wrong. check brian @ TNs post over at psn.
i spoke with bunting about this. unless there's something he doesn't know, he owns all of their upcoming production. considering he was the guy that spurred the development of this unit, i trust him.

Fullboost posted on another thread and said that part number for Jegs is in fact a TN BB Turbo, but that the price was changing at Jegs just for clarification. I trust Fullboost knows what he is talking about on this issue. There is nothing that said they were actually available (like sitting on the shelf), its just a part they can sell. Like I said before, anybody thinking about getting one should get it from BWD anyway for the service and support! Hell, I don't even know why Jegs has that part!

Ahhh ok, I'm with ya there then. That would make sense to me. I figured maybe the "BB" in the part number was "Ball Buster"

Re: garret bb or turbonetics??

Just asking here, not trying to get in an argument. Why would fullBoost say it is a BB turbo then?

He said the part number is a BB turbo, never mentioned that Jegs did not actually have the part.

Re: garret bb or turbonetics??

I also called jegs on the tn bb and asked them if it was the bb unit with the 1.0 housing and they had no answers. So they gave me tn,s phone # and i called tn and gave them the jegs part # and asked them if it was the bb unit with the 1.0 housing and not the bushed unit with .84 housing. Tn said it was and that they do not make the bushed .84 housing turbo any more and that only the bb unit is available. Just repeating what i was told cause i too also thought the price was cheap.

right. so they have the right PN, and think they're selling the BB. but they aren't. maybe they will be?

PS the jeg's price is now 1596... oh, and they list a .84BB contrary to what you were told
