I did the 05 conv on my 02. In the process I used dfuser's 9007 to 9008 pigtail in order for my 05 headlights to work. My question is if I buy an HID kit for a 2005 will I run into any problems seeing that the pigtails are there?
Don't have any experience with headlight conversions but logic would have it that if you have a 2005 headlight, and a 2005 bulb connector, and a HID kit for the 2005 it should be "bolt-on" with no issues. If you had the 2005 headlight with older bulb connector it won't work.
Should work except for the housings are not designed for hids.
