How do I install an auxillary oil filter???

I picked up an auxillary oil filter that is supposed to make oil changes good for 1,000,000 miles. It is called Everlast... I think the company is out of business, but am not certain of that. I can find nothing online regarding these filters. It is like the unit that uses toilet paper as an element, but mine has a "ball of yarn" instead! My problem is that this unit came to me without any installation instructions! Can anyone tell me how this gets hooked up to the engine? It has an in and out fitting and a sampling petcock, and there is a bracket to attach it to the frame under the truck... but that is all I have. This thing has never been used, but i'd like to give it a try!
Thanks in advance!
Brian

Re: How do I install an auxillary oil filter???

I thought that I had read a post regarding the "how to's" for putting one of these filters, I think that it even had pictures! But I could be wrong... I couldn't find it in the achives.
Anyone that may have knowledge as to where to find the info I am seeking... please don't hesitate to post a follow up!
THANKS!!!

Re: How do I install an auxillary oil filter???

That sounds like an exact description of my Oilguard system. Here's a link to a step-by-step install with photos on my website. Hope this helps,
Darrell
