Yeap I am just getting out of a 12v Cummins and got my first PowerStroke. I picked up a late 99 7.3 with 152,000 miles and so far have loved it. I will tow with it most of the time and have not had the chance to do that, but one of my questions is about the Bully Dog shift kit. Has anyone used this and are they worth the $80.00? My truck also has 3 1/2 pipe on it is that Stock? Last question, the truck came with the Edge Attitude on it, love the fact it has the Pyro, Boost and Rpm on it....how hard is the Edge on these trucks? Great Site! Stock begins with a 3" downpipe that expands to 3.5" where it connects to the exhaust pipe, and it's 3.5" the rest of the way. Most performance exhaust systems start with a 3.5" or 4" downpipe.

It depends on the driver.
Drive by the gauges. If you never allow more than 1,250º EGT or 25 PSI turbo boost (manifold pressure), then you won't hurt the engine.
As I understand it, the Attitude is just gauges. The Juice is what makes it go. If you have the Edge Attitude with Juice, then you need to drive by the gauges. If you don't have the Juice, then you'll probably never see 1,250 EGT or 25 PSI boost. http://www.edgeproducts.com/ford_73_powerstroke.html

You are right about never seeing 1,250 EGT or 25 PSI boost with just the Attitude because the Attitude needs the Juice to do anything. The Attitude will not work without the Juice. I am going by his post and he has the Attitude gauges so he has the Juice with Attitude. He should have a limit set to de fuel at 1300 EGT +-. There is no need to drive by gauges because of the safty built into the j/A to de fuel at a set limit.

If you really want your truck to shift like a dream, I would suggest a fully tuned Valve Body from GB Evans or BTS.
Thanks for the Welcome all....I will check out the link
