[QUOTE=BS Hauler;2283321]Machiner1 why did you take out your EBPV. I am thinking about going to the 38R ball bearing turbo and I just wonder if it is worth it to eliminate the EBPV valve and pedistal. Is it worth it in performance gains to loose the temp gain up here in the northern midwest. When we get below 0 up here it takes along time to build water temp without the EBPV. Some of the guys up here said don't do it.[/QUOTE

i havent had a problem with it, sometimes just a longer warm up time abd baby pedal until the motor warms up.. I like not have the EBPV for small personall differences that might not really 'show', but i can tell

Is it worth getting new injectors over remanufactured ones?

I dont know if I would take it out if you are in real cold weather, Mine was leaking a little, and 40 is really cold here, so it wasnt a big deal. I think the only difference was a bit faster spool up, but I kinda miss the sound of the EBPV kicking in. If you listen to some of the guys on here, they tell you to drop it in drive just as soon as the bendix retracts.
If you do that you wont notice the EBPV anyway.
BTW your PCM will pop a low level code it you remove the EBPV. No check engine light, just a trouble code stored in the memory.

Im my opinion, no. If you get them rebuilt properly, they are new injectors. If I understand it correctly, its like putting new tires on your existing rims, vs buying a whole new set of the exact same rims with new tires on them. You get the feeling of new, but I think thats about it. Im no authority on the matter though. Maybe talk to the guys at Full Force. They can tell you exactly what they do to rebuild them. https://shop.fullforcediesel.com/contactus.sc

Fullforce uses all new parts when they rebuild injectors. However other places do not, they will only replace certain parts. I would not hesitate to get remans from fullforce. Other places, I would be sceptical. Some people will only buy new. Everyone has their own opinion, but im fine with reman injectors

All 7.3L injectors from FF have new tungsten-coated plungers and barrels, they do not charge extra for worn parts in your cores. All are ballanced to 1%

All reman and new 7.3L injectors come with an 18-month warranty
