Just installed Tymar

I just installed my Tymar intake. Does it matter that the rubber boot intake hose is touching the Intercooler pipe?

probably not a big deal... might want to keep it from wiggling around and wearing a hole in the boot...

It shouldnt be touching. Make sure you have the short end of the intake boot closest to the filter and the longer end at the turbo.. just do a little adjusting and u will be good to go. I love my TYMAR, and it is NOT a DIY

Well, may have to do some more adjusting. Got it set up right, but does the foil wrap on the IC pipe have anything to do with it??

I just went and looked at my Intake tube, and it has about 1/4-1/2 inch gap between it and the intercooler tube. So do some adjusting and make sure u have the right end of that intake tube connected to the filter.

So what are you doing to get the separation? Do you have to turn the 45 degree elbow pipe completely up to get it so it wont touch?? I'm driving with it this way and it doesnt seem to be harming anything, I just don't want to get a hole in the boot from the heat coming off the ic pipe.

DAWG---Do you got a pic of what it is supposed to look like showing the short side and long side of the boot? I ordered the real Tymar from Dale, so I have the same one as you do.
