BB is going to be louder. The TN unit makes a little noise but not a lot. But on the freway you can definately here the TN unit.

I've been looking for a sound clip of a BB turbo for about 2 years now. I saw a clip of Dockboys back then that had a good sound of a BB, but I lost it. I've been trying to get a feel for the sound that I'm going to have when I get the ATS unit on.

yup, sounds great! but, I think my stock turbo with the WW and ATS housing is about the same sound wise. It whistles like crazy too. Nice looking truck. IMHO, there's nothing better than a shiny black truck!

That AFE definately shields the engine noise. I know with my open intake that BB sings loud, but I also hear a lot of engine noise as well inside the cab.
Drives my wife nuts, which is probably why I like it so much.
I still have yet to hear my own truck from outside the cab. Wonder what it sounds like with a 4" exhaust.

Nice looking truck! My X sounds a lot like it except for the muffler delete. Man, I am so close to going and having my Magnaflow muffler cut off...I love that straight pipe sound.
