New Turbo/New Problems

I recently installed new dominator turbo from Beans and now it sounds like there is major exhaust leak w/low boost. All turbo clamps seem to have gone on fine but there was some major force needed to get drivers side up pipe to line up w/manifold. There seems to be some blackening of the ypipe coupler at backside of turbo perhaps indicating leak at this area? There are clamps at Ypipe but I did not see any way to create better fit from these clamps, there were no donuts or gazskets that I could see. Also did not see gasket on drivers side exhaust manifold should there be one?
Early 99 7.3 w/ full Banks system

The "y" pipe on the back has a nipple on it that has to line up with a hole in the back of the turbo otherwise you will have a serious leak!

It sure sounds like this is what has happened in your case.
