Opinions on injectors

I'm looking for advice and feedback from heavy towers using aftermarket injectors. My truck is a 2002 F450 4X4 Manning pickup conversion w/4.30 that needs new injectors. I have S & B intake and 4" exhaust w/5" stacks and SCT X3 programer. I tow 10k pretty much daily and up to 29k on a regular basis so EGTs are a major concern. My stockers are worn out @167k miles, so time for an upgrade, looking for advice on brands and size. Shoould I upgrade my fuel pump also? What tuner/programming will best compliment these injectors? I will probably be replacing the turbo soon, so keep that in mind also. This truck is a work truck and has to be reliable, also fuel mileage cannot take a dump either.

Opinions??? Thanks in advance.

First I would look into getting a custom tuner from Matt @ Gearhead automotive or Bill @ PHP, Swamps, Beans diesel performance.

I have recently did some stage 1's from Nate @ Unlimited diesel and he was a hell of a guy to deal with and good prices. I am currently running Matt's tunes and they are great for shifting and everything all around. Give them a cal and they will hook you up.

I deff just noticed that you had a SCT. But Nate will hook you up and custom tunes are better then generic...

I was just stating that I had the SCT on it currently, I understand that I will benefit better from custom tunes after the injectors and/or turbo. The SCT does have 3 extra slots for custom tunes, but I am not married to it.

I was checking out the Beans injectors, glad to hear you mention them. Are any of these others located near KY, at least within a days drive?

Also, when doing the injectors was going to take care of some other things while I'm in there, like I said, truck has 167k of hard towing miles and has to stay on the road for many more. So, glow plugs, valve cover gaskets, HPOP O-rings... any other suggestions???

Well I can say glow plugs for sure make sure you get some motrcrafts there the best to use. Valve cover gaskets are no need to replace they are reuseable, the hpop o rings are probly fine if your pump is not leaking down. I would defently try some custom tunes first though I mean it makes one hell of a difference over the generic tuning. If you still need some more power beans will hook you up man. There great peolpe.

You may run into transmission issues if you have a stock automatic trans. Speaking from experience unfortunately.
