Is this the proper ATS Housing

I am interested in purchasing an ats 1.0 housing for my stock late 99 psd. I found these on ebay and was wondering if they were the proper ones? eBay Motors: ATS 99 00 01 02 03 TURBO 7.3 POWERSTROKE TURBOCHARGER (item 310034156770 end time Mar-28-08 15:50:12 PDT) thanks.

The ATS housing that is normally talked about is a ported compressor housing. That eBay housing is a 1.0 a/r turbine housing. If that is what you are looking for, the price is the lowest I've seen for new ones.

No, they go on opposite ends of the turbo.

There would be a similar effect but the yes or no answer would be no.

The OE turbine housing has a .84 a/r. The exhaust passage inside a 1.0 housing is slightly larger. A 1.0 a/r housing would be good if you plan to add enough fuel for an additional 50-100 HP.
