Regulated fuel return system (DI)

Does anyone know what the 1/8" barbed fitting is for on the regulator itself. It is nowhere in the instruction sheet they sent with it.

Re: Regulated fuel return system (DI)

Boost inlet maybe? Will that regulator adjust pressure according to boost level?

Thats what Im thinking after reading another post about an aeromotive regulator having it. This one is a FUEL LAB regulator.

Re: Regulated fuel return system (DI)

That's for boost pressure if you wanted to have the pressure adjust with boost.

Re: Regulated fuel return system (DI)

You don't need to hook it to anything. Just set the pressure where you want it and that is where it will stay. If you where working on a forced induction gas motor then you would use it to raise fuel pressure with boost.

Re: Regulated fuel return system (DI)

Are you sure that's not a "blow off valve" in case the diaphram in the regulator fails?

Re: Regulated fuel return system (DI)

If it's the pressure reference port that he is talking about it is for boost. There is another port though for if the diaphragm fails I just assumed the instructions told him what it was for. The instructions probably don't mention the boost port because it goes unused.
