stacks vs. normal exhaust.

Obviously im looking for the best milage i can get...like every one is. Well now I have 5" stacks with a 4" "y" pipe that attaches to the stock exhuast. Im getting tired of the stacks and I was wondering I if would see a benefit going from the stacks to a regular exhaust with a 4" downpipe and the rest 5" with no muffler or cat (single, NOT duals). Im also about to add a cold air intake and i currently have a superchips in there. If i wont notice much of a diff, ill keep the stacks, but if yall think its gonna help, ill go with the reg. exhaust.

Not sure if an exhaust swap will help but if you want to get rid of the stacks, I will take them!

I had a 4 inch turboback then went to 6" stacks with a 5" y-pipe and now Im back to regular single 4" exhaust again with no muffler. I didnt see any change in mileage between any of the exhausts except for the change from stock to aftermarket. I got rid of the stacks only due to getting tired of the noise and soot water spray down the back of my truck everytime it rained.
