Re: transmission shop close to me in missouri.

Drive to Lead Hill, Arkansas and have Brian build you a tranny. Then go out and try and break it. Do search on "BTS" and see if you can find any unhappy customers.

Re: transmission shop close to me in missouri.

870-436-(FORD)3673 Call early in the morning. Once they get going on a tranny they are tied up most of the day. Look at this thread if you have not seen it already. Read about other's experiences with Brian. I am just waiting for my warranty to expire before I make the trip. I tow a ahem "heavy" horse trailer and can not wait for this upgrade.

DO IT,,,,your smile will last for a long time when you drive it with the new tranny....it will seem like a new truck,,,,trust me!
Been there done that! Nothing like the BTS experience...
If your 1.5 hours south,,then your half way there nearly.

Re: transmission shop close to me in missouri.

At least you will still be smiling. Most of the remanned, rebuilt etc Ford trannies have not held up well. There are some other options but living that close to Brian, I think it is a no brainer.

I just drove from Denver to get one of those trannies. I am glad I did too.

Re: transmission shop close to me in missouri.

bts is the way to go. its about 4 hrs from st louis to his shop. Go southwest to springfield then south towards harrison ar. look for a little (did i say LITTLE) town...lead hill ar. I would drive over if your planning ahead for a chip. The removal and reinstall is part of the tranny charge plus they do sell and program chips there too. They are getting close to moving in to their new building so it may be kind of tricky to get them on the phone. If you have trouble reaching them feel free to call me, I may be able to answer some of your questions 870-421-5297

Re: transmission shop close to me in missouri.

I was just at BTS on friday and trust me you will not be dissapointed. It is also worth it to have them custom burn you a chip while you are down there. Sometimes they are hard to get a hold of, if they don't answer, then just keep calling throughout the day, I am sure you will get an answer, it always worked for me
