Unbelievable Results

I just got finished the best two hour mod I've done on my truck . I have located a International dealer who ordered me the correct cps . This one was differerent than fords . This requires a .0020 air gap with provided shims (cant recall exactly) I also went ahead and did the powerstrokehelp.com banjo fitting and fuel bowl mods . Holly snikes ( i hope with this language my post wont get deleted ) and by golly she ran like a scolded dog . It was quieter , shifted much smoother , and best of all FASTER !!!! I would highly recomend this mod . Please let me know if I may be of any assistance

John

Can you post the PN from IH for the CPS. I have had three different CPS in my truck at one time or another and none ever came with a shim. The Blue IH CPS will retard the timing which does make the engine quieter but the tradeoff is also a slight reduction in power.
This was documented a few years ago when someone ran some comparisons using a Dyno. It should be in the archives, somewhere.

Can you also explain the Banjo Mod?

I purchased a cps from international, it was the black one (part#99) everybody raves about, it didn't have any shims and i didn't see a noticeable difference.
