Used F5's seem to go for $200-300 with 4-5 tunes loaded including the switcher & switcher mount. If buying used, you need to make sure that the chip was tuned for your PCM code. If not, DP will need to reburn. Not sure how much that would cost, but I think it's less than what you'd pay for new tunes. If you were to buy that chip new, it would be about $425, plus $40 for the switcher, and $15-25 for the switcher mount.
Best bet would be to call DP and talk to Diane or Jody so you'd know exactly what you'd need to do to make the chip the way you want it for your truck.
As mentioned, the tuner chip board itself has a price, then each tune has a cost, and finally the switcher that mounts on your dash has a price. Add up each piece, all the tunes and that's the cost.
When Jody burns a chip, there are several questions asked.Your pcm code, gear ratio, any modes done, tire size, speedo calibration.Everything is taken into concideration so chances are even if it is the same pcm code unless both trucks were completely stock you will still have to have it reburned.

Just a thought...unless you find a DP-Tuner that is made specifically for your PCM you've gotta figure that its gonna cost you $50 to have DP set it up for your PCM, plus $25 for each tune you want switched over, plus about $20 in back and forth shipping. At least that's how I understand their pricing (?). So if its not for your PCM you gotta figure in all of the costs. With their 10% Holiday off sale and free shipping I'd go with a new one these days UNLESS you find one made for your PCM, etc. Also, buying new, you get free updates I believe. Just something to consider.
