want up fitter switch

if you could get your hands on a set up up fitters out of a wrecked truck with the harness could you make them work on a 2001 truck. i am not really worried about cutting into the dash for a mount just about the wiring.

Yes. I want to do the same. Had looked into purchasing the switches and lower dash from powerstrokeshop.com, just haven't done it. I think I have the instructions saved on my computer at home. Shoot me a pm and when I get home tomorrow night I'll get it to you.

The cutting and mounting is what most worry about. It's usually the only issue. Wiring them up can be done relatively easily. Go for it!

There is a member on here that put them in the map pocket and just had to make a little filler panel to take up what the switches didn't cover. As for wiring there is one main power wire that plugs into the fuse box so that is all you have to deal with. You could tap into the ignition switch harness with a fusible link if you had to.
