hello, welcome to the site.
what are your mods , and future goals?

I would say pulse is the way to go especially based on cost, and ease of installation.
Bob from dieselsite just finished the install on my truck the only real mods engine wise on my early 99 is a pmt1 computer , a ts chip , and my diy intake.
the truck idles at the exact rpm's as before...according to my AIC digital tach.
It idles smooth, and consistent. there is no hesitation or delay on throttle response .
I can start the truck with my remote start, so it cranks fine, cold hot etc...
my remote start is set on a 1 ~1.5 sec crank after a 10 sec glow plug delay.

road performance
with the chip pulled , just pulse and stock pcm, I notice a definite improvement in the 60~80 mph passing acceleration. it also pulled off much stronger from a stop.
now we are not talking about through you out of the seat pulls, but
for lack of a better description it is more smooth and consistent in the feel, as my wife described it. As far as can I tell a difference , yes.
the seat of the pants dyno says it has more powa. I would say equal to atleast a 20 tow tune by itself. Now with the chip in, it pulled just as consistant, all the way up to what my truck can put out. Itl made the truck pull even harder then it did with the just the chip and oem pump.

In short I just put an alarm on my truck , complete with a hoodsensor , cause Bob is going to have to call the repo man to get his pump back.........lol

There were two other pulse trucks there too, Richard has a garret38r and stage 2 injectors , he got out of his truck after his test drive just grinning. said " he defiantly noticed a big difference,, be fore his truck would loose some top end, now he is worried about watching his shifts more since he had a stick." his comment ....def gain there ..
Richard needs some pics of his truck, definatley far more show and shine then my work horse. A sharp looking truck, and I don't usually like lowered trucks , but his is mean looking especially with those rims.

The third truck was a blast...Bobs took both me and Richard for a test drive ,
and it was a pretty humbling experience, huge boost, huge pulls. Even Richard's eye were pretty wide when bob got on it. and his truck had far more mods then mine. Bobs truck is more of what dream builds are made of, plenty of high dollar mods.

In short Pulse works and works well. and the price can't be beat.

Pulse is my next upgrade. Well, after fixin' my leaky up-pipes...

My HPOP came from International, not that long ago.

I've had HPO gauge for a week now - and I can see the room for improvement! There is a pretty big dip in HPO at higher RPM's w/chip 'turned up'. I'm anxious to see some tunes that can utilize the additional HPO to boost/maintain injection pressures across the board.

Have you consulted your Tuner for his advice?

You will need new tunes anyway.

If you are in a rush for one, there will be a new pump in the next few weeks that will outperform anything out there and comes with a much better warranty. That is all I am allowed to say about it...Its being thoroughly tested for the last few months. I am trying to get one to install on my truck now!

I was talking to Bob about the Pulse and was thinking that using a stock housing was pushing it and that was why I was leaning towards the Stealth, then Bob asked if Brian used a different case when he built my BTS. I guess he has a point.

just to be clear there are two stealths out there..
a diy version similar to joey's terminator pump,
and a new single yet to be produced pump availible in 3 different versions...
i will take a wild guess and say that pulse would fall between the new stealth 2&3.

I guess I should have stated that I was looking at the new "Stealth" pump and I was just trying to get some insite on what everyone thought of it. I also like the idea of the pulse and it fitting like a factory HPOP. For right now I am not planning on putting bigger injectors in the truck just for the fact of the PMR's and I don't want to get to crazy with this until I pull the motor and put some good rods in it. I am also planning on calling Jody to discuss this with him also. Thanks for everyones input.
On my truck the only thing I had to do to get the 6.0 cooler to fit was move my transmission cooler to the front of the condensor, just behind the grill. I also threw away the rubber flaps that were on my original cooler. I did end up having to get longer hoses to hook up my intercooler tubes to the 6.0 cooler.

I called ITP last week about a Regulated Return Kit for a truck with a H2E turbo and he told me he has the parts ready, but he is working on getting the instructions ready to go along with the kit. I am leaning towards installing the ITP Regulated Return kit and the tank kit, I will be installing this before I put a different pump in.

Better then a Lifetime warranty? Sounds interesting.
