Just had a BTS installed and waiting for core to get back to them so I can get my $1k back. So far, so good. It is quite different from my old stock tranny. Less down shifting, when you say go, it goes.

We have put about 12K on our BTS tranny since it was installed. Mostly easy highway miles towing a small travel trailer between Texas and Virginia. Been keeping accurate fill up records and we have gained .75 MPG towing. So we are very pleased.

Well ended up being a longer day than expected, but i got the BTS in. What a difference it makes. No more Torq Converter Rattle, much smoother and firmer shifts, and definitely feels like the Hp gets to the ground much better. I recommend this Trans to anyone!

I definitely like the way mine shifts.

Its so simple...no one can claim they build the best..but there is the best package IE: trans and warrenty... its BTS no one can dispute that.
No further discussion needed.

I disagree, warranties are great until you're on the side of the road in the mojave desert.

Again.....BTS isn't the only show in town. Others offer a trans and warranty at least as good as what Brian does.

You're delusional if you think Brian is the only one that understands quality and customer service.

Look .......in This Economy

I live in cincinnati ohio ....I have an 01 7.3 powerstroke I lost my tranny due to the diode issue 2 months ago . at under 60,000 miles ......I got a local guy to rebuild it with a billet torque converter and it cost me 1900.00 out the door. 12 month 12,000 warranty ....ford wanted 3500.00

To brian or his employees who read this forum ......you are pricing yourself out of the market ...you might have the best tranny in the world but if I can't afford it you can't sell it. I had already taken a hit on the tranny itself no matter what the cost as it should have been recalled from ford. I was not going to pay between 4000-5000 plus the cost of travel ect to go to BTS it's just not justifyable ....I wil never buy a heavy duty truck again with an automatic tranny no matter who makes it period it's not worth the headache.
If this recession/mini deppresion hasn't hit you at BTS yet it will soon ....I look in the used truck adds and they are filled with diesel trucks people can't get away from them fast enough ....I am on the tipping point myself but she is almost paid for sooo I might as well keep it I know I would take a loss on the sale.

BTS sell all they need or want to, booked typically 4 weeks out why in the world would he want to build a std trans just to help those that can't afford a built trans. 12-12 warrentee...good luck I rather have a 2y then if anything goes out I pay shipping. I've put over 100k on mine.

Please anyone show me a shop with a similar trans and reputation that can match BTS warranty..good luck with your search

I would call you a BTS "Bubba", however, that name just doesn't fit you. Instead, the title of BTS "Ostrich" is far more appropriate. Your head is definitely stuck in the sand.

Oh no, now a BTS ostrich BTS Bubbas, don't have their heads in the sand, or broke down in the Mojave desert, as Dezl sayz. We are just extremely pleased with the BTS product, service, and the "hand shake" warranty. Buick used the slogan, "when better cars are built, Buick will build them". The best Ford automatic transmissions, are Built at BTS by Brian, case closed, and the jury is dismissed. Hey Dezl, ain't no feelin like BTS mobilin across the Mojave.

Are you sure you want to compare a BTS to a Buick? If I was Brian, I would be insulted. His transmissions are definitely better than that.

Also, have you ever compared the internal parts that different 4R100 builders use? Some of the differences are minor while some are night and day. Or are you content to espouse the superiority of one brand when you have no knowledge of the others???

The Buick thing, just a little history, not directly comparing to BTS. There are other builders, like JW, that builds a very good product, and has a good reputation. My personal experience is 447,000 miles on my BTS, and no problems, or concerns. Question, does anybody have a tranny from another builder with more trouble free miles? I know of a few BTS trannys, that are in my mileage range, so mine is nothing unusual, just the normal BTS quality. Another thing "Me got knowledge, and content to espouse"

Not a problem. I am still working on my Masters, here at the "TDS University". Hopefully, with 1.2 million miles of PSD ownership, almost one thousand posts, and several years of study, I will be getting closer to my degree. We have several here at "The TDS University" with Doctorate Degrees. Wow, what a great source of higher learning.
