So im only towing about a 5k load right, what if I pull a 15k load? Iam already backing way off to keep the egts at 1300 sometimes.

Just run straight water instead of water/meth (as said above).

Try a different brand (buddy's) chip and see if that helps with EGT's.

Is your EBPV gutted?

Iam running staright water now, and my ebpv is all stock, is that also what you call the wastegate?

No. The Exhaust Back Pressure Valve (EBPV) is post turbo wastegate and helps your rig warm up quicker by providing restriction on the exhaust when you start it up cold.

Sometimes they stick partially closed or they break and "flap in the wind". The restriction can cause excessive EGT's (among other things).

Something to check, anyway.
