05 tires for 02 F250?

Hey everyone,

I don't know much about tire sizes for my truck. I have 2002 F250 crewcab superduty 4x4- stock. There is a set of 17" aluminum wheels off of a 2005 f250 4x4 I am thinking about buying. They have BF goodrich rugged trail 265/65/17D tires.

Will these fit on my truck? Anybody have an opinion on how they will look? Any input would be great. Thanks

The offset of the '05-'08 wheels is incorrect for '99-'04 trucks. The wheels physically fit, but will rub the leaf springs when turning tight due to them sitting to far inboard.

You will need 1-1/2" spacers to make them fit. The 17" wheels will hit the tie rod ends and cannot be bolted up without spacers.

Here is one company that makes spacers for your truck or just "google" "wheel spacers"

Wheel Adapter 8 Lug 170 To 8 Lug 170 14x2 Stud Chevy
