07 F-250 wheel/tire upgrade to 20x10 with 305/55R20

Been batting this around for a while, have the stock 20x8 with the Badyears and after some slipping last year when driving with the plow, I want to upgrade. If I am going to spend the $1000-1400 on tires, might make sense to upgrade to a wider wheel too for a better footprint.

I am aware that thinner is better when going through snow, but its typically not that deep here in the Hudson Valley, NY.

Found a number of XD, Mickey Thompson and Artillery wheels that are 20x10. Here are my concerns that some who may already have these could share:
1. Would like the choice to be a Hubcentric wheel, payload capacity is important, this truck works (as you can see with the HD having a plow)
2. Which offset/backspacing would ensure no rubbing? Is it possible without a lift?
3. Which tire choice in this size (305/55R20) is best? Need to stay stock height or slightly lower as I have the luxury of keeping her in the garage in the winter (no cleaning snow off before starting to plow, she just clears the lintel now). BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler or Toyo Open Country AT? Grip/traction is most important in dry, rain and snow.

A little background, previous truck was a 97 Dodge 2500HD V10 with M/T with BFG AT KOs, awesome in the snow, good in dry and wet. Can live with it, but if better is available...

Thanks for the input in advance!

ive yet to have my toyo open country m/t's in the snow yet since i live in alabama... but i have had them in rain, mud, dirt, hills, and anywhere in between. i had bfg a/t's before the toyo's and i could literally whip donuts with them. i have only spun the toyos once. i dont think snow would make to much of a difference. they are by far my favorite over all. i run a 35/12.50/r18 i got rid of the stock 20" wheels to save money on the tires. if ur looking for the best grip in everyday working the toyo m/t 12.50 is perfect. and for the rubbing... if u go with a kmc just tell them you want the closest offset to stock and u should be more then fine. hope this helps
