Does anyone know if the center console from an 08 will fit a 01? I really like the layout of the new console, but can't afford the 50k price tag.

It will fit. Direct bolt in. You have to run 12 volt hot if you want the outlets, if you don't already have it run. You can find them on eBay all the time.

I just tried bolting an 08 console up to a set of captains chairs and the armrests were directly in the way. Brocanic, how did you get yours to fit with the armrests intact? I ended up removing my armrests at least temporary.

The console brackets are flat on the floor, and connect to the seat mounts. I think the console is just too big for any armrest. The 08's don't come with armrests....at all from what I've seen.

How did you get to the front bolts inside the new console?
