1999.5 to 2012 F-250 Nose Swap Conversion Done!!!

Hey guys and gals I finally put the 2012 f250 nose on my 1999 1/2 f250.Here are some before and after pics. I had the 2007 conversion on my truck before I installed the 2012 nose.I was waiting to paint the hood and fenders before I installed them but due to a deer running into my truck I did the conversion sooner.

Yes I do have some pics of the process but it isnt pretty.I dont have a list of parts at this time but I have been collecting parts off ebay and trousley Ford for some time now. I wasnt sure if there was enough interest in this conversion to post everything.

Oh yeah! Please post everything. How cool is that - a 7.3 Liter 2012 model!

Thanks,I know i love pulling into a ford dealer for parts and the salesman outside looking at my truck confused why its so loud with a 7.3 with a 2012 look.Besides that the best part is the truck is going to be 14 years old and it looks like a new $40,000.00 truck with a nice 7.3 sound.

That's like a big let down. Could you imagine the anticipation if Ford announced they were bringing back a new and improved (truly, no plastic parts or emissions junk) 7.3 liter!! Yea right.

Now you can sell it. Just advertise you have an extended cab power stroke that's in 100% working condition....asking $45k.

All I want is the grille and headlights.

It wasnt too expensive.I bought the bumper, headlights, one fender and grille used on ebay from different sellers over the past couple months. The hood, one fender and some supports from trousley ford online. The new hood and fender was almost the same price as buying used. The hood is only in black primer for now until I get the money up for the paint. Thanks ...
