A standard 1*1/2 or 2" leveling kit over the stock height 35" tires will still rub on the front, I know I have been there. It would of took a 4" lift on mine to keep 35" from rubbing. The first set I had was on the stock wheels which was terrible idea they rubbed on the leaf springs, and not the right wheel for that size tire. Second set of 35's were on a 10" wheel no more rubbing on the leaf springs, but rubbed the inner fenders. Got better over time as it wore thru the inner fenders. Some just cut that lower part of the inner fender off which fixes it. I went back to a 33" tire which is a much better size for towing power etc.
Mine don't rub at all. They did at one time, the inner fender on the drivers side, only because the bolt holding the inner fender to the body broke and it came loose. It has since been rectified. But I'm unsure what size the rim width is. As stated before, I just bought this truck. I know Its either 10" or 11". Looked up my rims on Moto Metals website. That's all they come in for a 20" rim.

That eBay link is only slightly better than the pics of the tube steel blocks. Their instructions say that the track bar doesn't need to be changed, but if you lift any truck without changing/adjusting the track bar, then it's going to "dog-track" (front and rear axles not following the same path.)
The tube steel blocks are definitely scary, as there's nothing but friction holding them in place. They aren't even the same width as the springs. One of those slips off the spring perch, and the truck rolls.
THose blocks are not only TOTALY UNSAFE but are in most states illegal because they are sooooo dangerous.
Added leafs rarely work - but are better than those blocks. Adding leafs ruin the ride quality and/or flexibility of the suspension. To get 1" lift in a shackle you need at least a 2" longer shackle and you do this and suddenly you've got pinion angle, caster angle ... lots of front end geometry to worry about.
The best solution - new leaf springs. Try ALCAN Custom springs. Alcan Spring - Manufactures Fine Custom Leaf Springs to see what they can do for you. I know many rockcrawlers who have been running their springs and they hold up very well. I would guese they can get you a set of springs that will bolt up and not effect the front end geometry.
no they will rub but hey would you rather have a little rub or would you rather loose the truck if something went wrong with that ghetto lift?
I'm not leaving this on the truck. It is parked for the time being. I'm going to buy the one with the new track bar. Also I don't do ghetto work. Nor will I leave ghetto work on my truck.
Thanks for all the info!

I had a set of these on my lifted tacoma back about 4 years ago. Alcan makes some absolutely killer springs. A word of advice, unless you hear differently, the tend to run a little big. I ended up with about 1-2" more of lift than I needed. On top of that they didn't sag, ever, even with a trailer hooked on and extra weight in the bed. They were STIFF.
I recommend them but I also recommend talking to them extensively before you order so that you can get them as close to what you need as possible.
