Re: 2005 F-250 Headlight Replacement

I do not believe the swap is real difficult. There have been some threads on the board recently covering he conversion.

I will have a set of 06 head lights for sale sometime around the end of next week if you are interested..

Scott, Can you send pics of the tops of the headlights for mounting? I have the sealed beams and I am trying to get info on how to do the swap.

Re: 2005 F-250 Headlight Replacement

JJ,

They are sold

I added the silverstar 3157 bulbs to the mix.. I like the non amber look when off, and they seem to be a bit brighter in the turn / flash mode..

Are the new headlights factory aimed, or do I need to adjust? I havent driven it in the dark yet LOL, not sure if I will be blinding others...

FWIW, the swap is a breeze. Remove the screws attaching the top of the grill, tilt it forward. Remove the 4 screws holding the fixture in place, slide it out and up a bit once it clears the fender, remove the lights harnesses (or just leave the bulbs dangling like I did, and slide them out. RFeverse the procedure to install.. Tonite I find out if they are blinders
