Well I have a newer truck style trailer light hook up plug and I was thinking about using it on my 2000. The wiring on the 2000 is attached to the plug its self and connects to the trucks harness under the bed above the bumper. And the 2005 plug looks like it has a connector at the plug and I would guess also somewhere under the bed/bumper area. Anyone know if it will plug right in is I get the harness that connects to the plug? Maybe I should post this on the 2005+ forum. THanks!
