2007 F250 head light assy on a 2002 F250

Hey, fellows! I bought a set of 2007 F250 headlights off of Ebay because I read here that they would work. Well... I got them in about a week ago and tore my old ones out yesterday just to find out that the new ones wont fit in the frame of the truck nor are the connectors the same that go from the truck to the new head lights. Did I get the wrong lights or did I just misread here and they wont fit my truck all together? Thanks!!

Here is the link from which I purchased the head lights. eBay Motors: 2005 2006 2007 F250 F350 F450 SUPERDUTY HEADLIGHTS PAIR (item 180285992041 end time Sep-14-08 17:19:35 PDT)

You have to cut the header panel to use the lights and buy pigtails are the Dfuser wiring harness to use them on a 99-04 model truck. It is not just a simple swap out.

Like FX4BAJA said you need to cut a decent amount of your stock headerpanel out to fit the newer lights.

Heres what you need to cut, '05 Head Light Conversion Template/Guide For Cutting - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

I did this on my '02 and its really not bad. None of the cuts are visible from the outside and i got my conversion harnesses from Dfuser.

I dont know what the problem is, my new headlights just went right in with no cutting. Of coarse that was after I upgraded the bumper the grill and the header panel and pigtails.
