I just finished the installation of a 26-row 6.0 liter PSD transmission cooler on my '02 F350.
While researching the topic, I found a general lack of pictures conerning the routing of pictures, so I thought that I would share mine.
During installation I installed a 3/8 hose Magnefine filter to the input line for the cooler to help it stay clean.
My initial installation used brass fittings from a hardware store that provided a 90* bend and a reduction in size from 1/2 inch hose to 3/8 inch. I had to use adapters to make it work. It leaked after the first install so I disassembled them to add some sealant tape. During disassembly I found the 3/8 hose barb was restricting the fluid flow inside the elbow by a considerable amount.
I decided not to run that combo and had a shop make some better lines for me with a smooth 90* bend that adapts the 1/2 inch hose to 3/8 inch.

I gave the shop owner some jeep parts, and in return he gave me the lines. He did tell me that the parts ran him roughly $20.

What length of 3/8 hose do you need for a setup like this? I'm going to try and have the lines made up before hand so that I'm not down a few days... looks about like 3' on the one and ??? on the other.
I don't remember the actual lengths, but they were far longer than what was needed - I cut them way down when I installed them. 36 inches should be plenty for both sides.
